Hi, I'm Kalem Hillman, the owner of Blue Barn Dog. Growing up surrounded by dogs, they've always been part of my family—and today, my household includes two Catahoulas, a lovable Lab, and a couple of curious cats.

Blue Barn Dog was born from a simple but important idea: dogs deserve better than the typical kennel experience. Like many pet owners, I’ve seen how anxious and stressed dogs can become when left in a noisy boarding facilities with little human contact. That’s not the kind of environment I’d want for my own pets—so I created something different.

At Blue Barn Dog, we offer boarding and daycare in a calm, home-like setting where dogs can feel safe, relaxed, and loved. Whether they’re here for the day or staying a while, your pets become part of our pack, enjoying companionship, comfort, and lots of tail wags.
